Language boost for toolset
9 Apr 2009 — A range of European and Asian languages are now available to users, among other enhancements.
The "new look" Demographix offers additional functionality as well as an easier-to-use interface.
“With these enhancements we continue to give our users additional power and refined ease-of-use at no extra cost,” said director Bobby Pickering. “We have also made major changes to account management tools and collaboration features that no other supplier in our price range can match.”
Among the new features and enhancements are:
- New tab styles to speed up access to core functionality
- Enhanced survey menu with status and category views tabbed
- Survey navigator gives enhanced view of survey structure as you build
- More fonts and line spacing controls for survey style sheets
- Enhanced controls for averages (mean) calculations
- Major changes to account management toolset
- Collaborative Scrapbook feature given greater flexibility
- Enhanced Printer Friendly Versions for survey print-outs
- Automatic PDF generation for Printer Friendly Versions
Demographix is also now offering an inbuilt multilingual feature, allowing users to take advantage of the growing number of languages the system can support. European languages now supported as standard are French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Welsh and Russian.
“We also support several Asian languages, including Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian,” said Pickering, “and look to enlarge that range in the near future. We’re finding that broadcasters with global reach are among the many groups who are seeking cost-effective alternatives for surveys conducted in many languages simultaneously.”
