Demographix introduces embedded video and audio

Demographix has announced a market first by introducing embedded video and audio questions within surveys. The new innovations have been greeted with huge enthusiasm by its key publishing and media customers.

"Online survey users are crying out for innovations like ours," said communications director Bobby Pickering. "Researchers and marketing personnel, especially in our core media and publishing sectors, can now add clips of videos or audio files to their surveys and get immediate feedback from readers, website visitors or members."

Derek Cohen, CEO of Demographix, said: "Marketing bosses in major publishing and media companies are turning to Demographix to provide them with the tools that allow them to measure response to their products or their advertisers' campaigns.

"Now, they can test TV or web media campaigns on behalf of clients, get feedback on their podcasts or other MP3 files, and insert clips of their own videos to test response before putting them up on a website."

The new technology is part of Demographix's rolling development programme, upgrading its core system at no extra cost to subscribers.

In the past 12 months it has incorporated extensive new accessibility features, to make surveys accessible to as many respondents as possible. It has also integrated new functionality such as Scoring Surveys (which allow respondents to get an immediate score for their answers) and Save & Resume – whereby respondents on longer surveys can return to filling out the questionnaire at a later date.
