Demographix to work with The Prince's Trust on events feedback
10 Nov 2006 — First appointment in Demographix Community Support programme
The Prince's Trust is to use online survey technology from UK service provider Demographix to conduct research among its extensive network of supporters.
The charity, established by the Prince of Wales in 1976, provides practical support - including training, mentoring and financial assistance - to help 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.
In the course of the next year, it will use Demographix to gather feedback from attendees at its many corporate events – such as its Technology Leadership Group meetings for IT professionals.
"We look forward to gathering valuable intelligence from our supporters and mentors over the coming year," said Carol Homden, Commercial Director. "We are always very excited about the possibilities of improving engagement with The Prince’s Trust by having access to impressive technologies like Demographix."
Demographix selects two charitable causes each year to support under its Community Support programme. This is its first appointment in 2006/07.
"Charities often have extensive networks of supporters that they would like to get more feedback from, and deploy that data in useful ways. Their marketing departments are often overstretched, yet realise the benefit in gathering ideas and opinions from individual or corporate supporters," said Bobby Pickering, communications director at Demographix.
